Camí des Salinar and Es Camp de Mar: the street, the beach and a table over the sea
Fifteen-million-euro villas, terraces among pines and a restaurant reached across a bridge. A look at Es Camp de Mar, its landscape and the figures that help explain its property market.

Camí des Salinar, from the street and from the sea
A stone façade, a closed gate, pine trees above the walls. Seen from the street, the houses on Camí des Salinar reveal only part of what lies behind them. The view changes on the seaward side: terraces open towards the bay, pools sit above the rocks and windows face the water. The photographs in this article show both sides of the same address.
In this part of Es Camp de Mar, in the municipality of Andratx, the relationship between a house and the coast deserves as much attention as the architecture. The height of a terrace, the orientation of the rooms and the trees between the house and the sea change the experience of each home. An aerial view followed by a street view makes it clear how little an address alone can explain.

Es Camp de Mar: the beach and its surroundings
Es Camp de Mar beach sits in a bay between Cap Andritxol and Platja de ses Dones. Fine sand and shades of green and blue water contrast with the rocks at its edges. The small islet just offshore is its most recognisable feature.
The beach belongs to a visitor destination, with restaurants and services around it. It is worth seeing at different times: summer activity is part of life here, while anyone considering a year-round home should also experience the quieter season. Choosing a house calls for more than a visit on one sunny morning.
Golf de Andratx, an 18-hole course in Camp de Mar, offers another way to enjoy the area. Beach, golf and terraces belong to the same setting, although each address has a different relationship with them. A property visit should also include the access roads and the actual journey to the places that will matter in everyday life.

Illeta: crossing the bridge for lunch
Illeta restaurant occupies the islet reached by a wooden bridge from the beach. Its cooking is Mediterranean and water surrounds the dining area. That short crossing is part of the occasion: first you see the restaurant from the bay, then the bay from your table.
In my account of Es Camp de Mar, I wrote about waiting until the busiest summer months had passed before going there for lunch. I remember the attentive service, the menu and the pleasure of eating beside the water. My recommendation was salt-baked sea bass with a Galician white wine, booking ahead. These are the specific experiences I want to describe when I write about living in Mallorca.
For someone visiting a property on Camí des Salinar, spending time at the beach and around the bay completes the visit. A terrace can be striking in a photograph; a few hours in the area help establish whether the setting also suits the way you want to live.

Prices per square metre, with a date and context
Idealista’s September 2026 sales report gives these references: Es Camp de Mar, €7,647/m²; Andratx municipality, €8,641/m²; Port d’Andratx, €10,626/m².
These are asking-price references for different areas, not completed transaction prices. The Es Camp de Mar figure covers its residential market and cannot simply be applied to a particular villa on Camí des Salinar. Multiplying it by the area of a house would not, on its own, amount to a valuation.
In Idealista’s ranking published on 20 August 2026, Camí des Salinar leads Spain with an average of €15 million per advertised home. That ranking compares total asking prices, not prices per square metre.
Comparing seafront homes means considering built area and plot size separately, their position on the coast, views from inside, privacy and condition. A pool, a terrace and a guest house serve different purposes and cannot all be measured by the same rule. A price needs an explanation that can be examined during the viewing.
A villa in our Camí des Salinar portfolio
Hernán Nogués Real Estate Agency offers a €15 million villa on this street, in a seafront position with direct access to the Mediterranean. It has four bedrooms, five bathrooms, an infinity pool, a private spa and a separate guest house. It holds holiday rental licences for 18 guests.
The photographs show the house from above, its street frontage and terraces facing the sea. The full property page contains its features, further material and details for arranging a viewing. The conversation starts with the house and continues with its surroundings: the coast, Es Camp de Mar and the life you want to build here.
